Kingsport Resident-"The VFW 4933 in Kingsport is desperately seeking volunteers for Wednesday morning between 9 and 10 am. We have a convoy of donations making its way to us from Western NY for us to distribute to communities in need such as Roan Mountain, Newland, Burnsville, Spruce Pine, etc. They are bringing 4 26’ box trucks along with a 16’ enclosed trailer that will need to be unloaded and loaded on to pickup trucks that will be able to navigate to these communities as taking a 26’ Penske probably wouldn’t be a good idea. All of these donations were made possible by the wonderful people of the Erie County Blotter. ,the amazing citizens of Western NY and the members of VFW 4933 in Kingsport. We desperately need to people to drive their pickup trucks that we load up to these communities with us. Our neighbors need our help and we have the supplies to help. Just need more trucks to get it delivered! 830 Minga Rd. Kingsport."
